The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the features of its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do to identify your home.

This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It can take in large objects and does not lose suction as fast as other models do and can remove pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot promises it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses an open-fronted, flat-fronted design.
