The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the features of its more expensive counterpart.
In tests, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do to identify your home.
iRobot Roomba s9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment built into the charging base. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and recommend automatic schedules to give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is setup it can begin cleaning automatically with just one button click. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal or go for two thorough maps of your home to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.
This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It can take in large objects and does not lose suction as fast as other models do and can remove pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot promises it will get better with the next models.
The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it hug furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price price.
Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so it is aware of areas that require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping feature is better still--its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.
The only drawback is the lack of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. But that's not a problem for those who want to own one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank larger than many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.
For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and then move away if it comes across one.
What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something requires attention, for example, the water tank being click here empty or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.
You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo will treat your home. This is a great feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's items that need to be cleaned out frequently, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets and hardwood floors in the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum with all the features you could need. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor that recognizes obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.
The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot itself and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in a single charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris and is easier to empty when required.
Finally, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to manage it even when not at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of just following a set path.
The X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads rotating to remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that comes with a variety of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It is able to create precise floor maps and recognize different types of flooring. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great, but they also place the L10s in the class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim and has a white-colored finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu at the center of the control panel lets you to choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The mops also work well in removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
